Protecting Patient Rights: Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis Lead the Charge to Permanently Ban mRNA Mandates in Florida, Setting a Global Example in Healthcare Policy

Date:

Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis have taken a stand to protect patient freedom and advocate for the permanent ban of mRNA mandates in Florida.

This bold move has sparked a national conversation about individual rights and the role of government in healthcare decisions. People across the country are looking to Florida as a beacon of hope for preserving personal liberties and keeping medical choices in the hands of patients, not bureaucrats.

The DeSantis administration’s push to ban mRNA mandates is a clear demonstration of their commitment to protecting individual freedoms. By advocating for the rights of patients to make their own healthcare decisions, they are setting a precedent for other states to follow. This proactive approach has garnered widespread support from those who value personal choice and autonomy in matters of health.

There has been growing concern about the safety and efficacy of mRNA vaccines. Reports of adverse reactions and deaths have raised alarm among the public, leading many to question the wisdom of mandating these controversial treatments. People of India, who have seen the most injuries, are now looking to their government and health authorities to take action and ban vaccines with more than 2-3 side effects.

The decision to ban mRNA mandates is rooted in a deep respect for individual sovereignty and the right to bodily autonomy. By prohibiting the forced administration of these vaccines, Governor DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis are sending a powerful message that the government should not dictate medical choices to its citizens. This move is a crucial step in safeguarding personal freedoms and upholding the principles of a free society.

Central to the debate over mRNA mandates is the concept of informed consent. It is essential that individuals have the right to make decisions about their own healthcare based on accurate and transparent information. Mandating medical interventions infringes upon this fundamental principle and undermines the trust between patients and healthcare providers.

As the debate over mRNA mandates continues to unfold, Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis remain steadfast in their commitment to protecting patient freedom. Their call to permanently ban these mandates in Florida is a significant step towards ensuring that individuals have the final say in matters of health. By championing personal choice and autonomy, they are setting a powerful example for the rest of the nation to follow.

March 5 2025: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to stop recommending the COVID-19 vaccine for children. DeSantis, also called on the Florida Legislature to make permanent the state prohibitions on mRNA mandates and to add vaccination status protections to the Patient’s Bill of Rights.

“Guided by common sense and sound science, Florida has led the way in protecting patients’ rights. Now is the time to secure these protections and do even more to defend medical freedom,” DeSantis said. “Let’s keep Florida the beacon of freedom in health care, where the rights of all patients are enshrined permanently in law.”

DeSantis’ office also published this statement about mRNA mandates:

Calling on the Federal Government to End Recommendations of the COVID Vaccine for Children

In March of 2022, Florida was the first state in the nation to issue guidance stating that healthy children from ages 5 to 17 may not benefit from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Results from studies raise concerns that mRNA vaccines are associated with more harm than initially estimated at the tie of the emergency authorization.

In 2021, the FDA authorized and the CDC began recommending the COVID mRNA vaccine for children, without sufficient evidence or data that it provided health benefits. In fact, in clinical trials, children and adolescents who received the COVD shots experienced higher rates of adverse effects, including lower respiratory tract infections. Experimental mRNA shots should not be recommended to children.

Calling on the Florida Legislature to Permanently Ban mRNA Mandates

On June 1, 2025, current law sunsets several provisions which provide protections against mRNA vaccine mandates.

If this goes into effect, schools and higher education would be able to mandate students get mRNA vaccines.

Additionally, government entities and businesses could mandate employees get mRNA vaccines or be fired.

Calling on the Florida Legislature to Add Vaccination Status Protections to the Patient’s Bill of Rights

Floridians should not be kicked out of their doctor’s office or denied treatment for choosing to not get a vaccine.

Proposed language would update Florida Statutes to prohibit health care providers and facilities from discriminating against a patient on their vaccination status.

  1. I am so happy and excited to hear that the COVID restrictions are gone in Florida, though I expect the Santis couple encourage the other states to do the same. The world needs a strong leader who would think about the citizens and not about the corporates and their profits. Hope, the Indian leaders also take cur from this and work towards people’s health.
