Nithin Kamath, the co-founder of Zerodha, a popular Indian stock brokerage firm, recently shared a personal health experience that has sparked conversation and debate.
Last year, Kamath revealed that he encountered a “mild stroke”. On Twitter, he expressed his confusion, saying, “I wondered why a person who’s fit and takes care of himself could be affected?” The doctor’s response was simple yet profound: “You need to know when you need to shift the gears down a bit.”
Around 6 weeks ago, I had a mild stroke out of the blue. Dad passing away, poor sleep, exhaustion, dehydration, and overworking out —any of these could be possible reasons.

Many reports have surfaced proposing that the mild stroke he suffered might be associated with the COVID-19 vaccine. It is widely believed that Kamath’s history of staying fit and healthy played a significant role in preventing a more serious stroke. But in other situations, people have suffered major strokes. It appears that some doctors, like Nithin’s, don’t really understand the causes of vaccine-related injuries. This key information often gets ignored.

According to the CDC :
Vaccination induces a series of immunological events which may cause neurological problems, for example, demyelinating diseases, epileptic seizures,Guillain-Barre syndrome, and stroke. The most common neurological symptoms after the vaccination include dizziness, headache, pain, muscle spasms, myalgia, and paresthesia, which are usually acute and transient. Furthermore, in limited studies, tremor, diplopia, tinnitus, dysphonia, and seizures were seen after COVID-19 vaccination. In a trial of the Pfizer–BioNTech (BNT162b2) mRNA vaccine, 7 out of 37,000 participants developed Bell’s palsy, although the rate of the disease was not higher than expected in the general population.

Stroke following COVID-19 vaccination
Stroke is a major cause of death and disability globally. It can be classified into two main categories of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, the latter has higher mortality than the former. CVST is a rare form of stroke that is generally seen in younger patients and predominantly women. COVID-19 vaccines may trigger stroke with thrombotic thrombocytopenia with or without the presence of anti-platelet factor 4 antibody (anti-PF4 antibody). Such association between thrombocytopenia and thrombosis with a catastrophic clinical picture has raised clinical attention. Association of thrombosis and thrombocytopenia rarely occurs in thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT), autoimmune HIT, antiphospholipid syndrome (APS),and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).Unusual thrombotic events with thrombocytopenia following COVID-19 vaccination and the presence of anti-PF4 antibody have led to the concept of VITT, which is also called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS)

On International Women’s Day, Nithin Kamath opened up about his wife Seema’s brave battle with cancer on Twitter. The couple’s story shed light on the sudden onset of cancer and raised questions about the possible connection between the disease and vaccines. There were many concerns raised about whether Nithin and Seema Kamath knew the unexpected reason for the cancer. Did they realize that vaccines could potentially trigger cancer in some people?
Seema, my wife, was diagnosed with breast cancer last Nov. She decided to share her journey & learnings till now to create awareness on cancer & the importance of regular health checkups, health insurance & overall health & well being.

Reading this article reveals that the rare side effects, no matter how mild, are not something anyone wants to deal with.
