The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently released data that shows a worrisome trend. According to the data, there have been 1.6 million adverse events reported along with 50,000 cases of blood clotting disorders following COVID-19 vaccination.
Data released on Friday, May 3, 2024, from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) indicates that there were 1,637,411[a] adverse events following COVID-19 vaccinations reported between December 14, 2020, and April 26, 2024. Among these reports, there were 314,353 [b] cases of serious injuries and 37,544 [c] deaths.
Out of the 37,544 reported deaths, 23,356 [d] were linked to Pfizer, 10,754 [e] to Moderna, and 2,878 [f] to Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Of these deaths [g], 9% occurred within 24 hours of vaccination, while 13% occurred within 48 hours.
VAERS, a voluntary reporting system jointly managed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), aims to identify signals of vaccine safety issues. However, it is estimated [h] to represent less than 1 percent of the actual adverse events.
According to the CDC, the VAERS data available to the public consists [i] of the initial reports submitted to the system. Any subsequent updates or corrections made to these reports during follow-up are utilized by the government for analysis purposes but are not disclosed to the public. Therefore, while an initial report may mention a health issue that leads to death later on, any subsequent information regarding the death will not be shared with the public or reflected in the statistics.
Excluding reports from foreign sources [j], a total of 1,010,545 adverse events [k], including 18,862 deaths [l] and 117,476 serious injuries [m], were reported in the United States between December 14, 2020, and April 26, 2024.
Foreign [n] reports refer to cases reported by international branches to U.S. vaccine manufacturers. As per FDA regulations, if a manufacturer receives a foreign case report describing a serious event not listed on the product’s label, they are required to submit the report to VAERS.
Data from babies who are 6 months old to kids who are 5 years old shows that there were 7,725 bad events [o], with 320 being really serious [p] and 14 ending in death [q]. There were 5 cases of heart inflammation, 37 cases [r] of blood clotting issues, and 68 cases [s] of seizures.
Data for 5- to 11-year-olds
There were 18,715 bad events [t], with 908 being very bad [u] and 34 deaths [v]. 54 cases [w] of heart inflammation. 81 cases[x] of blood clotting issues. 208 cases [y] of seizures .
Data for 12- to 17-year-olds
There were a total of 43,517 [1] bad things that happened after getting the vaccine. Out of those, 4,849 [2] were really serious and 149 kids sadly passed away [3]. There were also 286 cases [4] where kids had a really bad allergic reaction like their life was in danger and they needed treatment or even died. Another thing that happened was 1,409 cases [5]of heart problems called myocarditis and pericarditis, and most of them, 1,230 cases[6], were because of the Pfizer vaccine. There were also 320 cases[7] of blood clotting problems, and 290 of those were because of Pfizer [8]. Lastly, there were 42 cases[9] of a condition called postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), and those were also because of the Pfizer vaccine.
Data for All Age Groups to VAERS
- At least 15% of deaths were related to cardiac disorders.
- 53% of those who died were male[10] , and 41% were female[11]. The remaining death reports do not list the gender of the deceased.
- The average age [12] of death was 72.
- As of April 26, 9,386 pregnant women[13] reported adverse events related to COVID-19 vaccines, including 5,453 reports [14] of miscarriage or premature birth.
- Of the 18,054 cases of Bell’s palsy [15] reported, 78% were attributed to Pfizer vaccinations and 21% to Moderna[16].
- 3,598 reports [17] of Guillain-Barré syndrome.
- 10,751 reports [18] of anaphylaxis where the reaction was life-threatening, required treatment, or resulted in death.
- 9,117 reports [19] of myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest.
- 49,942 reports [20] of blood-clotting disorders. Of those, 34,459 reports [21] were attributed to Pfizer and 11,332 reports [22] to Moderna.
26,996 cases[23] of myocarditis and pericarditis, with 20,572 cases [24] attributed to Pfizer and 5,880 cases [25]to Moderna.
The CDC uses a narrowed case definition [26]of myocarditis. To meet the case definition, people must have “symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath and feelings of having a fast-beating, fluttering or pounding heart, and medical tests to support the diagnosis of myocarditis and rule out other causes.” This allows the CDC to exclude cases of cardiac arrest, ischemic strokes, and deaths due to heart problems that occur before one has the chance to seek medical attention or obtain a diagnosis.
The CDC website does not state what happens to these cases, but there is no indication they are tracked or included in the CDC’s myocarditis numbers.
- 91 cases [27]of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, with 76 cases [28] attributed to Pfizer and 15 [29] to Moderna.
- 1,065 cases of POTS [30], with 703 cases [31] attributed to Pfizer.

AstraZeneca to Withdraw COVID-19 Vaccine
The public’s perception of COVID-19 vaccines has been mixed from the start. • The withdrawal process, initiated on March 5, officially took effect on May 7.
• AstraZeneca has diversified into respiratory syncytial virus vaccines and obesity drugs.
