Following the formation of the new government in Bihar, political activity regarding cabinet expansion has intensified. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary met with former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday. He will then leave for Delhi this evening, where he is scheduled to meet with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. It is believed that the names of the new ministers will be finalized after this crucial meeting in Delhi. According to political sources, the cabinet expansion is expected to take place around May 7th, after which the government will begin work with the full team.

This is the first time the BJP has held the chief ministerial post in Bihar, and the party will strive to ensure that all major ethnic groups and regions of the state are adequately represented. Sanjay Singh’s name is prominently discussed from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), while Santosh Kumar Suman’s name is considered almost certain from the HAM Party. Providing adequate representation to all allies is considered essential to maintain the strength and balance of the NDA alliance.
