Preparations to flee abroad and ticket booking: Nitesh Rane claimed that he has reliable information that Aditya Thackeray’s flight tickets have been booked and that he could flee the country at any time fearing arrest and investigation.
Disha Salian and Mithi River Scam Case: Rane stated that Aditya Thackeray and actor Dino Morea are named in the FIR related to the death of celebrity manager Disha Salian. Furthermore, following the intensive questioning of Dino Morea by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in the Mithi River canal cleaning scam, the investigation is now pointing directly at Aditya Thackeray.
Sword of arrest: He said that the investigation in these cases is progressing very fast, due to which Aditya Thackeray is in danger of being arrested. To escape this legal action, he is trying to flee the country.
Demand for seizure of passport and lookout notice: Nitesh Rane has demanded from the Home Department of Maharashtra that Aditya Thackeray’s passport should be seized with immediate effect and a lookout notice should be issued against him, so that he cannot flee the country. Rane clarified that he himself will continuously follow up with the government regarding this demand.
