
Patna/Begusarai: Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the Government of Bihar has launched the “Sahyog Shivir” initiative across the state under the Saat Nischay Yojana-3 with the resolve of “Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasaan.” The initiative aims to strengthen governance at the Panchayat level and ensure quick, simple, and effective resolution of public grievances through an accessible and citizen-centric administrative mechanism.
During the first “Sahyog Shivir” organized in Begusarai district, Shri Kundan Kumar , Secretary, Industries Department and In-Charge Secretary for the district, visited camps conducted in various Panchayats including Mohanpur Panchayat under Navkothi Block and Kumbhi Panchayat under Cheria Bariarpur Block. He reviewed the grievance disposal process, interacted directly with citizens, and directed concerned officials to ensure prompt resolution of all applications received during the camps.
So far, a total of 2,036 online applications have been received from 24 Gram Panchayats in Begusarai district, out of which 1,360 applications have already been disposed of, while action is currently underway on 669 complaints. In addition, offline disposal of all grievances received through the camps has also been completed successfully. On the first day of the initiative, Kumbhi Panchayat under Cheria Bariarpur Block received 164 applications, of which 142 were resolved. Maheshwara Panchayat under Navkothi Block received 160 applications, with 139 disposed of, while Mohanpur Panchayat under Navkothi Block received 154 applications, out of which 135 were resolved.
The Government of Bihar will organize “Sahyog Shivir” camps in all Panchayats on the first and third Tuesday of every month. Additionally, through the “Sahyog Portal,” citizens can submit online applications at any time for resolution of their grievances. The initiative reflects the State Government’s commitment towards transparent, responsive, and accountable governance while ensuring that administrative services become more accessible and effective for citizens at the grassroots level.
