When asked about the demand for seats equal to the 2017 assembly elections, he said, “You can guess from the word ‘respectful,'” although he refrained from giving any number of seats.

Rajendra Pal Gautam described the caste census as a major political issue in the future. Taking aim at the central government, he said that the caste census format does not provide a separate column for the OBC category. He said that the caste census is going to become a major issue across the country. The Modi government does not realize this. The OBC column has not been provided in the caste census.
