The grand finale of the two-day Amity Film Festival 2026, hosted by Amity School of Communication, Amity University Patna, wrapped up in spectacular style on Friday, leaving behind a trail of cinematic brilliance, musical energy, and creative fervor.
The concluding day was graced by noted actor Chandan Roy, best known for his role as Vikas in “Panchayat Series”, who lit up the stage as the Guest of Honour. Addressing a packed audience of students, filmmakers, and media professionals, Chandan Roy inspired young creatives with stories of his acting journey and the power of passion and perseverance in the world of entertainment.
Senior Journalist and Public Relations Expert, IPRD, and Media Strategist Shri Anand Kaushal said that with the supportive government initiatives, and the passion of young creators, the stage is set for opportunities and explorations in Bihar.
Honourable Vice Chancellor of Amity University Patna, Prof. (Dr.) Vivekanand Pandey, lauded the success of the event, calling it “a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and cinematic expression.”
Adding a splash of color and energy to the celebration, the sub-event “Talent Treasure” enthralled the audience with vibrant dance and musical performances along with creativity in painting and theatrical displays, turning the campus into a carnival of talent and creativity.
The festivities culminated in a grand Valedictory Session, where winners across categories were honoured with prizes, certificates, and awards. From best short film to best editing, from talent treasure champions to rockstars—every talent was celebrated with cheers and camera flashes.
More than 300 participants from around 50 schools and colleges from different parts of the country participated in the two-day film extravaganza. Around 150 short films, reels and documentaries were registered in the film festival
