To file a complaint anonymously, women or children can access the Report Anonymously option in the Women/Children section of the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal.
Filing a complaint using this option ensures the complainant’s identity remains anonymous, allowing them to report the crime.
However, when filing a complaint, some evidence may be required to be presented to ensure the victim’s statement is credible.

On this portal, complaints can be filed regarding cyberbullying and cyberstalking, i.e., online stalking of women and children. Complaints can be filed regarding pornographic content or the leaking of private photos/videos without consent. Complaints can also be filed regarding online sextortion and blackmailing.
All these complaints can be filed anonymously, i.e., without revealing one’s identity. The victim may be required to provide two or three pieces of evidence. For example, they can upload a photo of the accused. Video or call recordings can be provided as evidence. The accused’s mobile number or a screenshot can also be shared.
