Following the Bombay High Court’s order, the CBI recently formally registered an FIR in the Disha Salian case on September 13, 2026. In the FIR and statements filed by the CBI following the Bombay High Court’s order, Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, named several prominent and influential individuals. According to statements and reports made by Satish Salian and his lawyer, the scope of the FIR/investigation includes prominent figures such as Aditya Thackeray (leader of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction)), Sooraj Pancholi (Bollywood actor), Dino Morea (Bollywood actor), Rhea Chakraborty (actress), Sachin Vaze (suspended police officer), Paramvir Singh (former police commissioner), and Rohan Rai (Disha Salian’s fiancé/partner). Satish Salian has made serious allegations in his daughter’s death and demanded an impartial investigation and action against all these individuals.
Ten days have passed since the CBI filed an FIR in the Disha Salian case, but the CBI has yet to arrest anyone. It’s likely the CBI is in the process of gathering evidence after filing an FIR in this case to facilitate the arrest and interrogation of the accused named in the FIR, and subsequently, to secure their conviction in court based on this evidence.
The above-mentioned possibility may be true for the CBI’s failure to arrest anyone in this case. However, in the meantime, reports have surfaced on social media that individuals named in the CBI FIR, including Aditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, and Rhea Chakraborty, have not left their homes for several days, and that Paramveer Singh has gone underground or fled abroad. This has led people to suspect the CBI of deliberately giving these accused time and giving them an opportunity to hatch new conspiracies to save themselves.
The case of former Police Commissioner Paramveer Singh is particularly interesting in this matter. There are reports on social media that former Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh has either gone underground or fled abroad. However, no one has yet confirmed where Paramvir Singh has fled. However, the fact that former Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh has done similar things in the past strengthens the possibility of him doing so again.
Amidst the controversies surrounding the Antilia case and the extortion case, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh went missing from public view (underground) in the first week of May 2021 (approximately May 4, 2021). He officially went on medical leave and has not appeared before investigating agencies since. He remained missing or underground for a total of 231 days (approximately 7.5 months).
There is speculation that Paramvir Singh, by remaining absent, used his money and influence to exonerate himself in the case. In such a situation, it is believed that the former Mumbai Police Commissioner may once again engage him in activities and hatch a new conspiracy to suppress this case. It is also believed that former Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh has connections with many people in the CBI, which he may be able to take advantage of.
