Following protests from villagers, a police team took action and detained the two women who were trying to escape near Nimgul village in Dhule district.

After the arrest of the accused bride and another woman, it was revealed that the bride is from Jharkhand. The women who accompanied her are also from Jharkhand. These women are named Suman Subhash Sahni and Aarti Suryaksh Patel. It was reported that a young man from the Parola area of ​​Jalgaon had married a girl from another state for Rs 2.5 lakh.
