US President Donald Trump was secretly evacuated from Turkey by military aircraft after last month’s NATO summit. The US Secret Service launched this special security operation after receiving credible information about a serious threat from Iran. The Washington Post and New York Times reported on this intelligence operation.

In this special operation, Trump first boarded Air Force One in public, but was then transferred to a third aircraft, also owned by the US military, hidden in a catering van. However, journalists traveling on Air Force One continued to believe they were traveling with the president.

Trump arrived in Ankara for the NATO summit in early July. For this trip, he used a new, modern Boeing aircraft provided by Qatar, marking his first international trip on this aircraft as president. Trump was scheduled to fly to Britain from Turkey, but US security agencies received information about a threat to the president’s plane from Iran.

Following this, a plan began to secretly fly the president out of Turkey. The president’s previously used Air Force One was also present. Trump announced that he would fly on an old Air Force One jet instead of the new one provided by Qatar. The aircraft provided by Qatar was then sent to a US military base in Britain.

Trump then boarded the old Air Force One in front of cameras in Ankara, but in reality, this was to deceive the world, especially Iran. Trump never left Turkey on this plane. According to the New York Times, Trump was taken to a catering van parked below the plane. He was then transferred by car to a third plane.

The Washington Post identified this third plane as a US Air Force C-32A, a military version of the Boeing 757. Trump secretly traveled to Britain on this plane. The plane landed at 10:20 pm, followed a few minutes later by Air Force One carrying members of the press.
