A global movement is underway to launch Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC) for government-controlled, programmable currency. This month, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced its official launch of CBDCs. A CBDC will allow tracking and tracing like never before. The government will be able to see your spending habits and purchases, and, even worse, the government will have veto power over your use of money.

If this CBDC is launched, it will make every purchase, every penny you own or spend, known to low-level bureaucrats and high-level politicians. This will give them unlimited information to use against you! Our government will never need another financial warrant because they will already know it all.
Our Founding Fathers recognized the danger of power being centralized in one government and created a brilliant separation of powers, but I’ll explain below how the CBDC would essentially erase all of that and bring Americans to our knees.

The Military Institute of Technology hosted a panel on CBDCs at the World Economic Forum this year. There, Amir Yaron, governor of the Bank of Israel, said, “We are in the midst of a technological revolution in the payment system.” And this revolution will have far-reaching implications.
This threat has been building for a long time. The G20 Summit 2022 was already pushing toward CBDC. This was the same meeting that pushed the World Health Organization to finish demands for global Vaccine Passports.
Agustín Carstens, head of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), knows a thing or two about using money to control people. Yet in 2021, he admitted that the CBDC is a scheme focused on watching and controlling you.
What worries Carstens is, “We don’t know, for example, who’s using a 100-dollar bill today, we don’t know who is using a 1,000-peso bill today,” he said. “A key difference with the CBDC is the central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations that will determine the use of that expression of central bank liability, and also we will have the technology to enforce that. Those two issues are extremely important and that makes a huge difference with respect to what cash is.” (emphasis added)

We have already seen what some are willing to do with doxing. Our government already has too much power through “civil asset forfeiture.” One young man named Jerry Johnson had started a shipping business and wanted to expand it with a third truck he found for sale. But while he was flying to pick up the truck in Phoenix, the feds seized 39,500 dollars from him and threatened him with jail time. Then the government held on to his money for nearly three years until litigation finally pressured them to release it.
But if CBDC is launched, the federal government can seize up to 100% of your money for any reason — or for no reason at all. However, there are two bills in Congress right now that will prevent CBDC from being weaponized against you.
At the same time, this CBDC can give the government essentially a “line-item veto” over any purchase you make. Want to fill up your car with gas? What if the government thinks you’ve already bought too much gas this month and declines to pay it? Want to buy a gun, but the government disagrees with your viewpoint? Wanna make your own medical decisions, but the government limits your ability to travel? The list is endless!
