While all opposition parties, including the Congress, are engaged in protests against the government over issues like SIR and alleged “vote theft,” the BJP is also missing no opportunity to counter the opposition. Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a scathing attack on the opposition. He called the opposition parties “rumor mongers” and said that they rejoice when the country faces a crisis.

Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, the Prime Minister said that they (the India Block) are trying to take advantage of the crisis facing the country. Addressing a public rally in Banaskantha, Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi launched several attacks on the opposition. He said that these are the people who want to see India in trouble. Whenever the country faces a crisis, they rejoice. PM Modi also mentioned the ongoing war in the Gulf region internationally.

For the past two years, there has been a direct confrontation between Iran and Israel. A year earlier, in 2025, the two countries fought a Twelve-Day War. Beginning in February 2026, Israel, along with the United States, launched direct attacks against Iran. Both the United States and Israel have launched numerous attacks against Iran. Iran is retaliating. Iran lacks the capability to directly deliver its missiles to the United States. However, the Shia nation is continuously targeting US military bases in the Gulf countries with drones and missiles.

Iran’s allied Houthi rebels are even going a step further, targeting civilian infrastructure in Gulf countries where the US has military bases. Prime Minister Narendra Modi alluded to this war in his speech. The situation is such that there is no country left unaffected by this war between Israel and Iran. International oil prices have skyrocketed. Both Iran and the US are targeting ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz as per their convenience. Global supply chains have been severely affected, and Prime Minister Modi has once again reminded the nation about this problem.
