Splitsvilla’s Aditya Singh Rajput found dead in his apartment

Mumbai: Actor, model and casting director Aditya Singh Rajput who was found dead in the bathroom of his apartment in suburban Andheri on Monday, was feeling unwell, and his death was allegedly due to falling in the bathroom, the police said.

Rajput (33) was allegedly not keeping well since the last couple of days and he collapsed in the bathroom of his apartment in the Oshiwara area, an official said.

The post-mortem of the deceased actor is underway on Tuesday after which the body will be handed over to his family for last rites.

The actor’s maid noticed the fall and informed the building’s security guard, following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead, he said.

Aditya was born and raised in Delhi but originally hails from Uttarakhand. However, the reason behind his death is still suspected. Mumbai Police started to investigate the matter.
