A protest has been called for November 19th, 2026, at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, demanding a CBI court-monitored investigation into the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager, Disha Salian. The protest will be held at 4:00 p.m., with an appeal to the nation’s parliamentarians and citizens to join in support of justice and women’s safety.
After holding a rally at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on November 19th, Advocate Nilesh Ojha and his associates will march from there to the CBI office and then to the NCB office.
They have announced this march and protest to demand a comprehensive investigation and the arrest of the accused in the Disha Salian case. Through this mass movement, they are demanding a thorough examination of the digital records and evidence related to the case.
In a conversation with Editor-in-Chief Ashutosh Pathak on the Qvive network, Nilesh Ojha, the lawyer representing Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, leveled several allegations against Padma Award-winning CBI officer Nupur Prasad, who is investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) case, for using tactics to protect the accused involved in his murder instead of providing justice to Sushant Singh Rajput. The following are the key allegations:
1. Allegations of concealing information: Nilesh Ojha accused Padma Award-winning CBI investigating officer Nupur Prasad of allegedly suppressing or concealing crucial information and evidence related to the Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian case.
2. Not arresting Rhea Chakraborty: Nilesh Ojha alleges that despite the court’s approval of custodial interrogation, Nupur Prasad and her team failed to arrest key suspects (such as Rhea Chakraborty), thereby hampering the investigation.
3. Weak or “nonsensical” investigation report: Nilesh Ojha’s criticism of Padma Award-winning CBI investigating officer Nupur Prasad claimed that the closure or status report prepared by the CBI was allegedly aimed at protecting the accused. He also alleged that CBI investigating officer Nupur Prasad weakened the investigation by focusing on the abetment to suicide angle.
