Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi posted again on Tuesday, reminding Prime Minister Modi of his previous challenge. He wrote, “Modi ji, I challenge you. You say the opposition is anti-national. Choose a place on any stage and debate with me. Who is the anti-national? Who has connections to foreign forces? And what kind of connections? Do it quickly, don’t be afraid.”

Rahul further wrote in the post, “We will meet, there will be media, the youth of the country, a table. You will sit on one side, and I will sit on the other. Whoever you want to be the judge, make him the judge. Make Mohan Bhagwat sit, and let’s debate then.” Questions will be raised about the financial system, the financial structure, how the US deal happened, why it happened, why it happened so quickly, why only you did it, why didn’t the Cabinet know, why was the Adani case closed, Epstein—there are so many things that will be discussed openly.

Rahul further said, “Come on, don’t be afraid. Let’s separate the wheat from the chaff. You’re making allegations against me, come on, everything will be cleared up. You’ve filed defamation cases on other things, maybe 45 cases against me. But you’re not filing defamation on this debate issue, on the foreign connection. Go ahead, we’ll discuss it there too, openly, let’s discuss all this, come on.” Rahul Gandhi held a rose in his hand during his video message and at the end, he also wished PM Modi a Happy Diwali.

Indeed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had accused the opposition of creating obstacles. He said that these forces are constantly engaged in conspiracies to divide the country. Despicable plots are being hatched to sow division and discord among the children of Mother India. Driven by frustration and despair that has persisted for more than a decade, these people have now come out openly. Who is secretly meeting whom abroad? Which anti-India forces are supporting them? Who is speaking the language of India’s enemies? We must understand all this. We must unite and confront them.

Following PM Modi’s comment, Rahul Gandhi wrote in a post on Instagram on Monday, “Modi ji, stop lying to this country. You became Prime Minister with foreign aid and remain Prime Minister with foreign support. Your economic system is completely controlled and supported by foreigners. Foreign social media is fully behind you. I challenge you to an open debate on this issue. Any platform, any time. Come if you have the courage. You won’t come because you are afraid of what I know about you.”

On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a dig at the “mock parliament” organized by the INDIA alliance. He said that the opposition had staged a drama in the name of mock parliament. Addressing a public rally in Chhattisgarh, Shah said, “Rahul ji, the Narendra Modi government is ready to discuss every issue. Let Parliament continue; we are ready to call a special session and discuss SIR. If you have the courage, then discuss it in front of the people of the country. Walking around with the Constitution in hand does not support the Constitution.”
