The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) stated that the Jantar Mantar protest was caused by a systemic failure. This was stated during the All India Coordination Meeting in Visakhapatnam. Giving details of the meeting, the RSS stated that the Jantar Mantar protest was discussed. The RSS also advised the government to take necessary steps. Furthermore, the Sangh stated that society should also make efforts at its own level. RSS leader Mukund CR also stated that the Jantar Mantar protest cannot be resolved through destruction and should be resolved positively.
He stated that the government should also address the concerns of the youth. He stated that due to flaws in the systems of national and state government institutions, there is dissatisfaction among the youth. They are worried about their future, and therefore, this needs to be addressed. He also appealed for no violence in the name of the protest. The RSS leader stated that any issue can only be resolved through positive initiatives. This requires both society and the government to come together, raise awareness, and make efforts to address systemic flaws.
The RSS leader stated that the meeting also discussed the changing demographic balance. He stated that while the country currently has a large youth population, this will not remain the case in the future. The situation will begin to change in a few years. He stated that India is facing a demographic imbalance. Furthermore, the population of some communities is growing rapidly, while that of others is declining. Mukund CR explained that the meeting also discussed how drug abuse is affecting youth in the country. He stated that discussions focused on how to positively nurture youth in the right direction, including their future.
He stated that the meeting discussed the idea of ”five changes” proposed by the RSS chief. Furthermore, discussions were held on how to maintain family values. There was a discussion on how to expand the work of RSS. Not only this, topics like Artificial Intelligence were also discussed. Its impact was discussed and a presentation was also given.
