Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi has referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as “traitors.” His sharp and controversial statement has sparked a major political uproar in the country. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly criticized Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of becoming a foreign puppet controlled by Pakistan to oppose Prime Minister Modi. Countering Rahul’s statement, BJP National President Nitin Naveen called it extremely unfortunate and a symbol of an anarchist mindset. Nitin Naveen said Gandhi’s comments were an insult to the 1.4 billion people of the country. He urged Rahul Gandhi to apologize to the nation.
The BJP President further stated that he believes he is losing his composure. He described Gandhi’s comments as “unfortunate” and an insult to the 1.4 billion people of the country. Naveen asked, “Why would you use such words for someone who has curbed terrorist incidents, eliminated Naxalism, and honored the tricolor?” He demanded that Gandhi apologize to the people of the country.
On the other hand, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari alleged that Rahul Gandhi had insulted the people of India by using the word “traitor” against Prime Minister Modi. Bhandari said that by insulting PM Modi and using the word “traitor” for him, Rahul Gandhi has insulted 1.4 billion people of this country. Rahul Gandhi’s remote control is in the hands of Pakistan and other anti-national forces.
Another BJP spokesperson, Shahzad Poonawala, also attacked Rahul Gandhi over his comments. Poonawala said that Congress claims to be a “shop of love,” but this is their true identity. They have always disrespected PM Modi and even his mother. Because the Prime Minister comes from an OBC background, they have always disrespected him.
It is noteworthy that while addressing party workers in his parliamentary constituency, Rae Bareli, Rahul Gandhi made scathing remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, calling them traitors. Addressing a public gathering after unveiling the statue of Veera Pasi in Dhulwari village, Rae Bareli, Rahul said, “When RSS workers come before you and talk about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, you should openly tell them that your Prime Minister is a traitor, your Home Minister is a traitor, your organization is a traitor, you have worked to sell India. You have attacked the Constitution. You have attacked Ambedkar.”

Rahul Gandhi’s New Attack on PM Modi
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Rahul also took a dig at the viral ‘Melody Moment’ between PM Modi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, saying, “We are facing an economic crisis, and our Prime Minister is busy distributing toffees in Italy! Farmers, youth, women, laborers, and small businesses are all suffering – the PM is laughing and making Reels, while the BJP is applauding.” Rahul Gandhi had previously leveled fresh criticism at Narendra Modi over his foreign trips. He accused the Prime Minister of constantly traveling abroad while urging citizens to avoid them. The Congress leader also warned of an economic crisis and rising inflation. Speaking about the country’s economic situation, Rahul Gandhi said, “An economic upheaval is coming.”
