A BJP leader and his brother have been arrested in the NEET paper leak case. BJP leader Dinesh Bival and his brother Mangilal Bival have been arrested. The Rajasthan Police Special Operations Group (SOG) has taken action against both brothers. SOG interrogation revealed that the brothers purchased the paper for ₹30 lakh from Rakesh Mandwariya of Sikar district, Rajasthan.
Investigating agencies received information that the brothers purchased the paper for some children in their family. Later, to recoup the money, they sold it to outsiders. Dinesh Bival is an active BJP worker in Jaipur’s Jamwa Ramgarh assembly constituency.
He actively participates in BJP events and has organized several events for the Jamwa Ramgarh assembly constituency. He also held a ministerial position in the BJP’s youth wing for a while. Dinesh and his brother, Mangilal Bival, are currently in CBI custody. Dinesh and Mangilal are among the more than two dozen individuals handed over to the CBI by the Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group last night.
Meanwhile, the Congress party tweeted on Twitter about the arrest of BJP leader Dinesh Bival, targeting the BJP. The Congress party also posted a photo of Dinesh Bival with Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. Dinesh Bival’s Facebook account clearly shows his close ties to several BJP leaders. He had also put up welcome hoardings at several locations when the party’s national president, Nitin Naveen, arrived in Jaipur on April 27th.
The investigating agency received information about the Bival brothers after Rakesh Mandwaria, who runs a consultancy agency in Sikar, was detained in Dehradun. It is claimed that several children in BJP leader Dinesh Bival’s family are pursuing medical studies. The investigating agency, the CBI, may now question those children as well. It is feared that other children in the family studying medicine may also have been unfairly selected. However, the CBI is questioning these two brothers. Only after their interrogation will their roles become clear. Currently, the roles of both brothers are not only under question but they also appear to be major players in the paper leak.
