Revanth Reddy sworn in as Telangana CM; Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka named Deputy CM

Hyderabad: Congress legislature party leader A Revanth Reddy was on Thursday sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Revanth Reddy.

AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah attended the ceremony held at the L B Stadium here.

Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has been one of the most prominent faces during Telangana polls. He was the second LoP in the Telangana assembly. He has also been an MLA in 2009 and 2014. He will be the deputy chief minister of Telangana.
