Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized politicians for attempting to instill fear in the public regarding monkeypox

Date:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a member of the Republican Party, has expressed concerns regarding the actions of certain politicians who he believes are attempting to instill fear among the public regarding the monkeypox outbreak. He argues that such tactics are politically motivated and serve to create unnecessary panic among citizens.

On August 3, 2022, Florida reported 525 cases of monkeypox. So, was this meant to be a global pandemic according to the World Health Organization?

Ron DeSantis on monkeypox, says politicians trying to scare citizens

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis expressed concerns regarding the proliferation of monkeypox-related scams and said politicians would use the new virus to further restrict individual freedoms as they did in the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am so sick of politicians, and we saw this with Covid, trying to sow fear into the population,” he said, according to The Hill. “You see some of these states declaring ‘States of Emergency.’ They’re going to abuse those emergency powers to restrict your freedom, I guarantee you that’s what will happen.”

Florida Is Focused on Facts, Not Fear

The World Health Organization continues to push its pandemic agenda, employing fear tactics and spreading misinformation about viruses, all while collaborating with Bill Gates on vaccine initiatives.
