Simply speak, and Gemini will do the work for you in a jiffy. Whether it’s retrieving flight information from your inbox or converting your thoughts into a stunning document, Gemini AI will now handle it all.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai himself announced the rollout of Gemini’s new voice capabilities. Users can now search their Gmail inbox, manage notes in Keep, and create new documents through conversation.
These three new features are available in Google Workspace
Gmail Live
This feature allows you to search your inbox. You no longer need to read long email threads. Simply ask questions like, “What’s my flight’s gate number?” or “What’s the latest update from school?” Gemini will retrieve the correct information.
Docs Live
It will act as a hands-free thought partner. If you have an idea, simply speak it. Gemini will transform your thoughts into a structured document. With permission, it can also pull in relevant information from Gmail, Drive, chat, and the web.
Keep Live
This feature in Google Keep instantly listens to your words and turns them into organized notes, lists, and to-do lists.
According to Google, the rollout of the new voice features has begun. Gmail Live and Keep Live are available to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers. The Docs Live feature is available to Pro and Ultra subscribers. The company will soon release it for Google Workspace business customers as well.
