Indian-origin Ajay Banga nominated as the head of World Bank

New Delhi: Ajay Banga is an Indian-American business executive who currently serves as the CEO of Mastercard, one of the world’s leading financial services companies. Banga was born on October 24, 1959, in Pune, India, and grew up in Delhi. He graduated from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi with a degree in economics and later earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
