Justice After 10 Years: Kidnapped man murdered for Rs. 30 Lakh ransom, now court sentenced life imprisonment

Lucknow: The special court sentenced three accused to life imprisonment in case of kidnapping and murder in Jalaun of Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place ten years ago when the accused kidnapped a child of their relatives for money and then brutally killed him, after which police arrested three kidnappers in the encounter, on whom court has now sentenced the punishment.

At the same time, as soon as the court sentenced the accused, the accused were arrested with immediate effect and sent to Orai district jail. Government advocate Mahendra Vikram, who is representing the case, said that on May 2, 2012, Khalilpur resident Rajkumar was abducted, whose case was filed by his brother Anil Kumar’s son Kaushal Kishore at Orai police station.

During this, the abducted Rajkumar’s brother Anil had said that his brother had gone to Kalpi but did not return after that. We searched for him a lot but could not find him. Then about a month later, on June 2, 2012, a letter was found in the marriage envelope at home. In this card, Rs. 30 lakh ransom was demanded. At the same time, he was threatened with death if he reported to the police. We could not arrange the money, due to which we informed the police. As soon as this was known, the accused brutally killed the Rajkumar.

However, later the police in their investigation came to know that the kidnappers have killed the hostage and all the kidnappers are in a forest. Where the police raided and arrested 3 accused after the encounter.

A charge sheet was filed in the court against the three detained accused after which the three absconding accused were apprehended. The case is still going on against them. Where the court has sentenced all the three accused to life imprisonment, along with a fine of 20-20 thousand has also been imposed on them. As soon as the court pronounced the sentence, the accused were sent to jail with immediate effect. On the other hand, the case of the other 3 accused is still pending.
