Ever since becoming President of the United States for the second time, President Donald Trump has been trying to show his dominance to the entire world. The latest attack on Iran, in collaboration with Israel, is one such effort. However, Iran has shattered his arrogance in this war. Now, the situation is developing such that President Donald Trump is beginning to see a major defeat in this war. He feels that because of him, the US will face the same fate in this Iran war as it did in the wars with Vietnam and Afghanistan.
Donald Trump had envisioned this war as a way to bring Iran to its knees in a few days, seize its oil reserves, and then, in addition to acquiring vast wealth in the form of petrodollars, demonstrate his dominance over countries around the world. After Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was brought to the United States in shackles from his presidential palace and tried in a US court, Donald Trump, demonstrating his arrogance, insisted on purchasing Greenland, a Danish autonomous territory, or annexing it to the United States. He described it as a “major real estate deal.” He called it essential for strategic and security reasons, and threatened Denmark with dire consequences if it did not sell. He spoke of buying off the Greenlandic people with money, and even threatened a major military attack on Denmark if the Greenlandic residents refused. Had Donald Trump won the Iran war, he would have undoubtedly purchased Greenland using the immense wealth he had acquired there, or, claiming Iran’s victory, he would have attacked Denmark to further his arrogance, attempting to annex not only Greenland but also Denmark to the United States. But the Iran war was a case of hailstones falling upon him as soon as he shaved his head. They started the war by launching a major attack on Iran in collaboration with Israel. However, the Iranian warriors have now begun to attack with missiles and drones, leaving Donald Trump in a state of confusion. Forgetting all his arrogance, Trump is now working to avoid further embarrassment. Under this plan, he has vowed to refrain from attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities, oil facilities, and other important locations for five days.
If this ongoing US-Israeli war with Iran ends with a treaty, Donald Trump’s arrogance will vanish. This will not only prevent Donald Trump from contemplating an attack on Denmark over Greenland, but will also free the entire world from the terror he has been spreading, sometimes under the pretext of tariffs, sometimes by provoking Jain ji, and sometimes by direct attacks.
Even though the US and Israel attacked Iran and assassinated Iran’s Supreme Commander, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on the very first day of the war, which was officially confirmed within three days, it seemed that the US would easily win the war. Donald Trump even made several statements about Iran’s victory and the war’s imminent end. Subsequently, when Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s son, Mojtava Khamenei, assumed the position of Supreme Commander of Iran, US and Israeli troops claimed to have wounded him as well. Furthermore, US and Israeli forces killed several prominent Iranian figures, including Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, and Ali Shamkhani, Head of the National Defense Council. However, during this period, the morale of the Iranian troops never weakened, or their retaliation diminished. It seemed as if Iran was a bloodbath, where after one person died in an attack, another would take his place, troubling the US and Israel with their own counterattacks.
In its initial counterattack, Iran never directly attacked the United States. However, it repeatedly launched missiles and drones against Israel, effectively neutralizing Israel’s Iron Dome interceptor missiles. Furthermore, Iran launched ballistic missiles against areas near Dimona (Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center), located in the Negev Desert of southern Israel, considered a key nuclear site in the country.
While Iran is not directly attacking the United States due to the 5,000-kilometer distance between Iran and the United States, it is unsettling Donald Trump by attacking countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other countries where the United States has defense bases, as these countries are now exerting pressure on the United States to stop the war. Iran has severely frightened Donald Trump with its recent missile attack on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Diego Garcia is under the joint influence of the United States and Great Britain. It is believed that on the day when England gave permission to America to conduct its military operations from here, Iran attacked here with its missile and forced England to think a hundred times about its consequences before openly supporting America in this attack.
Iran has continued to hamper Donald Trump’s efforts by maintaining its dominance over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran targeted the Thai-flagged bulk carrier “Mayuri Nari,” causing a fire in its engine room off Oman. Furthermore, there have been reports of Iran targeting ships belonging to or suspected of being affiliated with Israel and the United States. Donald Trump has repeatedly talked about opening the Strait of Hormuz, but nothing appears to be happening. Only ships from countries approved by Iran are navigating through it. Four Indian ships have also arrived in India carrying LPG and crude oil. Donald Trump sought assistance from several countries, including NATO and the European Union, to reopen the Strait, but in the face of Iran’s counterattack, no country supported him in this matter. Now, Donald Trump is backing away from the issue, sometimes saying that American ships will not pass through this side, and sometimes threatening Iran with a nuclear attack if it does not open the Strait of Hormuz for normal traffic within two days.
Meanwhile, when Donald Trump received intelligence that Russia and China were aiding Iran in this counterattack, he became even more worried. Iran also continues to increase Donald Trump’s anxiety by periodically showing videos of its missile and drone stockpiles. Even in the United States, Donald Trump is being accused of unnecessarily attacking Iran. Americans are increasingly attacking Donald Trump over the security of their country’s soldiers, the enormous expenditures incurred, and the inflation caused by rising petrol and diesel prices.
US President Donald Trump pushed the US into war without congressional support, but lawmakers are raising questions about when, how, and at what cost the war with Iran will end. Three weeks have passed since the war began, and its consequences are now becoming clear. At least 13 US service members have been killed and more than 230 injured. The Pentagon’s request for US$200 billion for the war fund is pending at the White House.
This Iranian counterattack has completely thwarted President Donald Trump’s attempt to seize Iran’s oil reserves and demonstrate his dominance to the world. And President Donald Trump himself appears to be on his knees. Donald Trump has vowed not to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, petroleum plants, and other vital sites for five days, while Iran is also talking about ending the war by proposing a treaty, including paying war reparations. Given this, there’s hope that the ongoing war between Iran, Israel, and the United States will end soon. If it does, it will be a relief for the entire world. Not only will people be relieved of the monetary crisis caused by this war, but the world will also be freed from the bullying tactics of US President Donald Trump in the future.
