During the discussion held in the India Debate with Ashutosh Pathak on Friday, Senior Legal Expert and Advocate Nilesh Ojha revealed several facts about Adar Poonawala, the founder of Serum Institute.
Adar Poonawala had written a complaint letter to the police in which he indicated that all of the people in the Awaken Movement India should be arrested on October 1, 2022. Adar Poonawala’s statement did not sway the police; they said they found no reason to charge them based on your letter.
In the debate, Nilesh Ojha claimed that Poonawalla had no influence over the police and that they knew what was fair and legal. The Bombay High Court likewise dismissed Poonawalla’s allegations.
We never made allegations against the police department, Nilesh Ojha said. Those who acted unfairly are wrong, and those who worked fairly are right. It’s impossible to accuse the entire department of being unjust. Additionally, the High Court slammed Adar Poonawala.
In an interview with Nilesh Ojha on Indian Judiciary, he mentioned that Adar Poonawala, along with Serum Institute, went to the High Court for compensation of Rs 100 crore after the police failed to listen to him. According to Poonawala, anyone claiming that people die because of Serum Institute should be barred from speaking and running their news channel. Should issue injection orders against them.
Nilesh Ojha said he had received a letter from Adar Poonawala on October 18, 2022, saying he would suffer if they did not stop propaganda against him. As a result of hearing the entire case, the Bombay High Court judge did not provide any relief to Poonawala. In addition to not accepting Poonawalla’s complaint, the High Court also told Ojha that the judiciary is not a slave to money lenders. Poonawala attempted to bring this matter before the High Court again on November 23, 2022, but the judge refused to hear it.
