In the Disha Salian case, Nilesh Ojha, the lawyer representing her father, Satish Salian, along with his team of lawyers and representatives from the Indian Bar Association, will visit Aditya Thackeray’s home to serve a defamation notice. Key points related to this move are as follows:

This is a defamation notice worth approximately ₹19,750 crore, which was previously served by the organization. Now, Nilesh Ojha and his team of lawyers are preparing to serve it directly.

Lawyer Nilesh Ojha alleges that Aditya Thackeray has made numerous false claims to the media and the court regarding the Disha Salian case and his innocence. He also claimed that he has solid evidence against Aditya Thackeray, including mobile tower locations and eyewitnesses.

In an interview on the Q Vive network, Nilesh Ojha, the lawyer representing Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, stated that Aditya Thackeray is threatening him with threats that he will be unable to work in court if he shows too much interest in the case. Nilesh Ojha explained that these threats have instilled fear in witnesses and others, potentially adversely affecting the case even if it were to be referred to the CBI. To allay these fears, he has decided to personally visit Aditya Thackeray’s residence to conduct a notice survey. However, Ojha stated that several well-wishers and the police have requested him to reschedule his scheduled visit to Aditya Thackeray’s residence at 4:00 pm today. According to him, the Ganesh Visarjan festival is currently underway in Mumbai, and most police personnel are preoccupied with the Ganesh Visarjan. Lawyer Nilesh Ojha said that he has accepted the request of his friendly police officers and today only two members of the Mumbai Bar Association will go to Aditya Thackeray’s house in his place and serve the notice. After a few days, Nilesh Ojha himself will go to Aditya Thackeray’s house along with some lawyers from other bar associations to serve the notice. He stressed that this country runs on the basis of the rules and laws of the Constitution, not on the basis of threats.

Talking about the background of this case, after the order of the Bombay High Court, the CBI has registered a new FIR in this case under serious charges of murder, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence, in which Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray have been accused of conspiracy.
