Shimla: The new Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has decided to review the decisions of the previous BJP government. The government has also asked to submit the details of all the foundation stones done by the previous government during the last six months from June 1, 2022, to the Chief Minister’s Office by December 15, 2022.
A day after taking over as CM, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu directed the officials to cancel all the extensions given by the previous BJP government. Apart from this, it has been announced to review all the decisions taken by the cabinet before June 1 this year. Sukhu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.
Further, the order states that the ongoing recruitment process in government departments, boards and autonomous bodies of the state government, public universities, except for the recruitment process being done through the State Public Service Commission and the State Subordinate Services Selection Board, will be put on hold. To be kept However, these orders will not apply to Government Medical Colleges and Health Institutions and status quo will be maintained in respect of transfer orders which have not been implemented.
All the offices have been directed not to issue any new appointment letter or notice inviting applications in respect of pump operators, filters, men doing different jobs, cooks and helpers etc. The Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti Department also directed all the officers of the department to restore all the foundation stones damaged due to any reason.
Government has also asked to submit the details of all the foundation stones done by the previous government during the last six months from June 1, 2022, to the Chief Minister’s Office by December 15, 2022. It has been said in the order that all pending tenders under process will be stopped and no work will be given under any circumstances till further orders and no new tender will be invited.
