CIAL declares emergency after hydraulic failure of flight from Sharjah

Kochi: According to Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), a flight from Sharjah to Kochi was thought to have experienced a hydraulic failure, so the airport in Kochi declared a complete emergency.

“Probable hydraulic failure on IX 412 between Sharjah and Kochi. At 8.04 p.m., the Kochi airport was declared a complete emergency as a result. “The aircraft safely landed at 8.26 p.m.,” CIAL stated in a statement.

The emergency was withdrawn at 8.36 p.m., according to CIAL officials, and there were no runway obstructions or diverts.

After the emergency was lifted, normal operations at the airport were declared. Earlier on Sunday, shortly after taking off for Kolkata, an Air Asia flight makes an emergency landing at Lucknow airport.
