3 LeT terrorists who planned blast and spies for Pakistan arrested

Hyderabad: Three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who planned the blast in Hyderabad were arrested. The accused are identified as Mohammed Abdul Zahed, Mas Hasan Farooq and Samiuddin, who are natives of Hyderabad. Police seized grenades, mobile phones and Rs 3.9 lakh from them.

Earlier, the NIA has taken over the investigation of the case from the Hyderabad police. The NIA said that the arrested persons were acting on the instructions of the Pakistani spy agency and the ISI had assigned them to carry out the blasts in Hyderabad.

The National Investigation Agency stated that they had recruited youths for terrorist activities and they had received help from Pakistan for the same.

Zaheed is a suspect in several terror cases. He was in direct contact with Lashkar terrorists in Pakistan. The NIA also stated that Saheed was spreading terrorist ideas among the common people. The NIA said that it has collected detailed information from the police and the investigation is in progress.
