Currently, SIR work is underway in 16 states and three union territories. Have you completed your SIR form? If yes, has your SIR form been submitted by the BLO? Your phone can answer this question. After completing the SIR form and submitting it to the BLO, you can check the status of your form and whether it was submitted correctly.
To check the status of your SIR form, first visit the Election Commission website: voters.eci.gov.in.
Then click on the Fill Enumeration Form option on the home page.
If you’re using the website for the first time, click Sign Up.
Register by entering your mobile number, email address, and captcha code.
If you already have an account, you can log in directly by entering your registered number, password, or OTP.
Your name will then appear at the top of the page. Click Fill Enumeration Form again.
Enter your EPIC number in the box provided.
Click the Search button to check the status.
Then, your form’s status will appear on the screen, allowing you to see whether the BLO has submitted your form.
If your form has been submitted, you’ll see “Your form has already been submitted with mobile number XXXXX.” This means the BLO has submitted your form.
If your form hasn’t been submitted, instead of seeing a message, you’ll be directed directly to a new form to fill out. This means your form hasn’t been submitted yet. In this situation, you’ll need to contact your BLO.
Also, if you see a notification stating your form has been submitted but the mobile number appears to be someone else’s, or if you see that your form has been submitted without the form being filled out, contact the BLO. This happens when the BLO made a mistake submitting your form.
If you need to contact your BLO for any reason, you can book a call with them from voters.eci.gov.in.
To do this, click on Book a call with BLO on voters.eci.gov.in.
After this, enter your EPIC number and the captcha code and press the search button.
With this, the name of the BLO and their mobile number will appear on your screen.
If you wish, you can also ask for your BLO’s number by calling the Election Commission’s helpline number 1950.
