Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that this Sankalp Patra is a path to lift every section of Bengal out of despair. It will show a new path to farmers, who are surrounded by various fears. This Sankalp Patra will also present to the people of Bengal the roadmap for Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India. The people are frightened and frustrated. They sincerely want change. Today, we are serving as the main opposition party in the Bengal Assembly.
BJP leaders and ministers have repeatedly stated that if the BJP comes to power, women will be given Rs. 3,000. This proposal has been included in the BJP manifesto. Amit Shah said that if the BJP forms the government, women will be given 3,000 rupees per month. The BJP has promised to give 3,000 rupees to unemployed youth. Three thousand taka will be given per month to empower the women of Bengal. Additionally, new employment and self-reliance opportunities will be created for 10 million people over the next five years. Youth will receive 3,000 taka per month until they find employment. A special women’s police battalion, called the Durga Suraksha Dasta, will be formed for the safety of women. 33 percent of all government jobs in the state will be reserved for women.
The BJP’s proposal prioritizes women, youth, agriculture, and industry. Dearness Allowance (DA) will be guaranteed for government employees and pensioners. The Seventh Pay Commission will be implemented. Vacant posts will be filled within 45 days. The Katmani cultural syndicate raj will be eliminated. Amit Shah said that a special white paper will be published to expose the corruption and deteriorating law and order situation that has occurred during the last 15 years of the Trinamool government’s rule. The BJP has also promised to provide special government assistance for paddy, potato, and mango cultivation and ensure fair prices for farmers’ crops.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that to promote Bengal’s culture, we have conceived the idea of a Vande Mataram Museum. Through this, Bengal’s culture will gain recognition worldwide. We will launch a decisive attack on infiltration. We have decided that within 45 days, the Bengal government will provide all the land required by the Home Ministry of the Government of India. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that several BJP-ruled states have implemented the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). “Within six months, we will implement the UCC in Bengal as well and ensure that a single, uniform set of laws applies to all citizens across the state. We will not only seal Bengal’s borders to infiltrators, but also ensure that not a single cow is smuggled out of India through Bengal,” he said.
