Sushant Singh Rajput Case: PIL Filed Against Aditya Thackeray, Demanding Investigation and Potential Arrest

The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, which shook the nation back in 2020, is once again at the forefront of public discourse with the filing of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Bombay High Court. This time, the spotlight falls on Aditya Thackeray, with the petition seeking a thorough investigation and potential arrest in connection with the deaths of both Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian.

Sushant Singh Rajput, a beloved actor, was found deceased on June 14, 2020, in his Mumbai apartment. His death, ruled as a suicide by authorities, sparked widespread controversy and conspiracy theories, with many questioning the official narrative and demanding a more in-depth investigation.

Disha Salian, Rajput’s former manager, passed away just six days prior to Rajput’s death, on June 8th, after falling from the 14th floor of a building. The proximity of these two deaths, along with alleged discrepancies in the initial investigations, has fueled speculation and raised serious concerns about potential foul play.

Watch: Adv. Nilesh Ojha Highlights Key Courtroom Developments

The case surrounding the death of beloved actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) has once again taken center stage, years after his tragic passing on June 14, 2020. A new Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Bombay High Court, raising significant questions and targeting Aditya Thackeray.

As Qvive Network, known for its continuous coverage on the SSR and Disha Salian death cases, exclusively reports, the PIL, filed by the Supreme Court and High Courts’ Litigants’ Association through its President, Sh. Rashid Khan Pathan, alleges serious misconduct and a potential cover-up. The petition highlights allegations of gang rape, murder, and implicates high-profile individuals, including Aditya Thackeray, as a prime accused.

Qvive Network conducted an exclusive interview with Adv. Nilesh Ojha, a key figure involved in the case. According to Adv. Ojha, during yesterday’s proceedings before Justice Upadhyay, matter number 47, though heard late in the day at around 4 PM, saw significant developments. He emphasized the massive support from the petitioner’s side, stating that over 55,000 lawyers are aligned with the PIL. In contrast, only two individuals initially represented the opposing side, later joined by a CBI lawyer who claimed to be instructed to appear in the matter.

Adv. Ojha went on to say that the PIL calls for the CBI to provide a detailed report on its investigation and to start an inquiry into Aditya Thackeray without delay. The association raises concerns surrounding the circumstances of both Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s deaths, demanding that the truth be revealed.

Meanwhile, Aditya Thackeray has reportedly filed an intervention application. In his petition, Thackeray requests the court to hear his defense before issuing any orders, claiming the PIL is not maintainable.

The Bombay High Court is scheduled to officially hear this PIL On February 19th. The focus will be on the allegations and whether a thorough investigation, including potential questioning and arrest of Aditya Thackeray, will be initiated.

The upcoming hearing on February 19th promises to be a crucial moment in the ongoing pursuit of truth and justice in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Qvive Network will be closely following the developments, providing updates as they unfold. Will this PIL finally bring closure and accountability? The world is watching.

In an exclusive interview with Qvive, Advocate Nilesh Ojha shed light on the proceedings of the court hearing. He revealed that despite being listed as matter number 47, the case was heard late in the day, around 4 PM, by Justice Upadhyay.

Adv. Nilesh Ojha further elaborated on the legal representation, noting a significant disparity in the number of lawyers present. While Rashid Khan Patan’s side boasted an extensive list, the opposing side had a much smaller contingent.

The dynamics in the courtroom were also notable. Ojha recounted a contrast in representation: a vast number of lawyers (allegedly 55,000, according to Ojha, who humorously admitted to struggling to even write down all the names) represented Rashid Khan Patan, the petitioner; while only two individuals initially represented the opposing side. The CBI lawyer later appeared, stating he had instructions to represent the matter.

The PIL also demands a comprehensive report from the CBI regarding its ongoing investigation and pushes for an immediate investigation into Aditya Thackeray’s alleged involvement. The Supreme Court and High Court Litigants Association of India have joined the call for transparency, highlighting the lingering questions surrounding both deaths.

In response, Aditya Thackeray has filed an intervention application, asserting his right to present a defense before any orders are issued. He argues that the PIL is not maintainable.

The Bombay High Court is scheduled to officially hear the PIL on February 19th. All eyes will be on the court as it navigates the complexities of this case, which throws a spotlight not only on the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian but also on the effectiveness and transparency of the investigative agencies involved.

Advocate Ojha emphasized the importance of the court’s demand for status reports from both the SIT (Special Investigation Team) and the CBI.
