‘Animal’ rakes in Rs 236 cr in 2 Days, Ranbir Kapoor’s crime drama dominates

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor’s latest outing in the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Animal’ has taken the box office by storm, amassing an astounding Rs 236 crore worldwide in just 48 hours. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film unveils a gripping tale of crime and familial discord, showcasing Kapoor in a compelling role that has captivated audiences across languages.

With its intense narrative and star-studded ensemble, ‘Animal’ has swiftly emerged as a dominant force in contemporary Indian cinema.

According to the filmmakers, Ranbir Kapoor’s intense crime thriller ‘Animal’ has achieved a global box office gross of Rs 236 crore. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned for ‘Kabir Singh’, the movie debuted across multiple languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam last Friday.

T-Series, the production company, proudly shared the impressive earnings of this family crime drama, certified with an ‘A’ rating by the CBFC before its release. “Rewriting the script of success. 2-day worldwide gross Rs 236 crore,” T-Series posted on X.

The star-studded ensemble includes Ranbir Kapoor alongside Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri. The narrative delves into a world rife with violence, portraying the strained relationship between Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay Singh, and his father Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor.

“Animal” is a joint production of Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, presenting a pan-Indian cinematic experience.
