Fired Facebook employee reveals shocking facts about the tech giant

California: An employee who was recently fired from Facebook has come up with shocking facts about how the social media platform works. His revelations have shocked the entire world.

According to him, the villain who drains the battery of the mobile phone is Facebook which keeps observing our phone even if it is kept unused. George Hayward, a former employee, has filed a complaint against Facebook in this regard. Facebook does this in the name of ‘Negative Testing’.

George, a data scientist, points to his experience while working in the app. George’s disclosure was reported by the New York Post. Facebook and Messenger are deliberately draining the battery of users’ smartphones.

‘Negative testing’ allows Facebook to secretly drain a user’s phone’s battery to test in-app features and learn about issues. The speed of the application and the speed at which images load are tested.

According to reports, the 33-year-old George, who worked for the Facebook Messenger app, was fired for not participating in a negative test.
