US President Donald Trump has threatened to destroy Iran. He wrote on Truth Social, in his own style, that an entire civilization will end tonight. This threat comes as his deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz expires. Trump has been repeatedly threatening ground action against Iran. Iran, meanwhile, has stated that its patience is running out and it will target the United States and its allies.
Trump wrote, “Tonight an entire civilization will end, irreversibly. I don’t want it to happen, but it will probably happen. However, now that we have a complete change of power—where different, more intelligent, and less radical people are in power—perhaps something truly magnificent and revolutionary could happen. Who knows? We’ll find out tonight—one of the most pivotal moments in the world’s long and complex history. 47 years on.” The cycle of coercion, corruption, and death will finally end. May God bless the great people of Iran.
Earlier, during a White House conference, Trump had threatened to open the Strait of Hormuz and reiterated his intention to destroy Iran’s power plants and bridges. He said that Iran could be destroyed “in one night.” He warned that if Iran does not reach a deal with the US by the deadline, action could come at any time, including Tuesday night. At the White House, Trump said he believes Iranian leaders are negotiating, but it is unclear whether an agreement will be reached. Iran has also rejected a proposal for a temporary ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Israel also threatened to blow up Iran’s railway system. The IDF advised Iranians not to use the rail service. Subsequently, by afternoon, several targets were attacked, the semi-official Mehr News Agency and IRNA News Agency reported. On Tuesday, a railway line on the Tabriz-Zanjan Highway in northwestern Iran was destroyed. Not only the bridge, Kharg Island including the Yahya Abad Railway Bridge was targeted.
