Jaipur: Deepak Meena, the son of Rajasthan’s Congress MLA Johari Lal Meena has been arrested in a gang-rape case. He was arrested in a gang rape case of a minor girl. Deepak Meena is the son of the MLA from Rajgarh in Rajasthan.
The action was taken in a case registered at Mandawar Police Station under various sections of POCSO. The case was registered in March 2022. The accused Vivek Sharma and Netram Samleti were arrested earlier in connection with the case.
The victim had responded to the media that she wanted the accused to be given the capital punishment. The girl also said that if the court exculpates them, they will repeat this to other girls too.
A ruling Congress lawmaker’s son has been arrested in Rajasthan for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in February 2021, a police officer said. Deepak alias Dilip Meena is the third accused to be arrested in the case.
