Noida: At least 15 people were injured after a speeding Mercedes car collided with a roadways bus on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida on Thursday.
The mishap took place near the Galgotia underpass on the Greater Noida Expressway. Senior police officials were present on the spot.
The officials said that the collision was so severe that the Mercedes fell from the underpass. Fortunately, the car’s driver escaped major injuries since there was mud where the vehicle fell.
Additional DCP Greater Noida Ashok Kumar said the bus was coming from Noida and was en route to Greater Noida Pari Chowk. Around 15 passengers on the bus were injured in the accident, he said.
The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.
