Two suspects were apprehended during security checks for Prime Minister Modi’s Global Fintech Fest (GFF 2026) event in Mumbai. One was found carrying a PMO card, while the other was found carrying a pistol. The PM’s event is being held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). According to reports, the suspects have been arrested by police. He was identified as 24-year-old Rohan Parekh, who allegedly claimed to be an official of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and carried a fake ID card. Parekh was accompanied by a bodyguard, who brandished a pistol.
