Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut and yoga guru Ramdev have been at loggerheads for the past few days. Recently, Kangana Ranaut made a scathing remark about Ramdev. On Sunday, Ramdev retorted that he doesn’t want to comment on cheap people.

This exchange began when Ramdev commented on Kangana Ranaut’s statement calling Gen-Z the “gutter generation.” When Kangana referred to a generation as the “gutter generation,” Ramdev retorted, “I don’t want to talk about such people. Calling the youth ‘Gutter Generation’ is a sign of bad thinking.” Kangana then taunted, “Don’t dream about my youth or bedroom.”

When Ramdev was questioned on Sunday about Kangana Ranaut’s comment, he said, “What can I say right now? I don’t want to escalate the controversy. The country knows who Swami Ramdev is. The country knows what Swami Ramdev’s contributions are. Therefore, I don’t want to comment on petty people.”

He also stated that saints have blessed the One Nation, One Election initiative. He said, “One Nation, One Election will also improve the education system. Right now, it seems like elections are going on all year long, which hinders development work. This will move the country forward more rapidly on the path of progress. This initiative will strengthen our democracy, and the Prime Minister is fully committed to electoral reforms.”

Ramdev also said that while insulting the SC/ST community is against the Constitution, insulting Brahmins is also against the Constitution.

He said, “I would say that injustice is also done to students, patients, soldiers, farmers, members of SC/ST communities, and Brahmins.” Today, if someone insults an SC/ST person, everyone talks about democracy and the Constitution and calls it unconstitutional. If insulting an SC/ST person is against the Constitution, then insulting a Brahmin is also against the Constitution.
