March 13, 2026 The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Matthew Aaron Van Dyke, an American citizen, and six Ukrainian nationals in a major case related to terrorist activities and illegal drone operations in India. While initial reports suggested they were caught near HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited), official information indicates the arrests relate to their involvement in illegally entering restricted areas near the Mizoram-Myanmar border and providing drone and weapons training to Myanmar insurgent groups. Matthew Aaron Van Dyke, an American citizen, was arrested at Kolkata Airport, while three Ukrainian nationals were arrested at Delhi Airport and three at Lucknow Airport. They were subsequently produced before a Patiala court, where they were remanded to police custody until March 27.

Following this arrest, a major question has now arisen: Is the US, in collusion with the Ukrainians, attempting to overthrow Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and is it even prepared to use terrorists to assassinate PM Modi if a situation like the one in Bangladesh fails to arise in India where a coup using Gen. Ji is staged?

There is currently no precise and official answer to this question, as the case of the arrest of six Ukrainian citizens, including American citizen Matthew Aaron Van Dyke, is still under investigation. Furthermore, matters related to such cases are generally not disclosed due to national security concerns. However, if you connect the various links, you will begin to believe that a large-scale conspiracy is being constructed to overthrow Prime Minister Narendra Modi at all costs. Especially when you consider the previous actions of American citizen Matthew Aaron Van Dyke in this arrest, you will certainly sense a conspiracy somewhere.

Then you’ll start to wonder if US President Donald Trump, who never tires of calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi his friend, also played a significant role in this matter!

Whether Donald Trump played a role in this matter is something only President Donald Trump himself would know, or perhaps the Indian intelligence system, and through it, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would know. I’m simply highlighting points that seem to point to this. After becoming President of the United States for the second time, President Donald Trump became obsessed with winning the Nobel Prize, but Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not help him in this matter. Even when Donald Trump attempted to position himself as a Nobel Prize contender by promising to end the India-Pakistan war through a trade deal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi refused to support him. Later, when opposition parties, especially Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, began questioning Narendra Modi’s decision to hand over India’s sovereignty to the US President, he came to the House and made it clear that no foreign leader had any role in halting or postponing Operation Sindoor. Furthermore, when the US began raising tariffs and imposing fines on India for purchasing oil from Russia, PM Modi remained undeterred. By describing the tensions between India and the US resulting from Trump’s actions as a personal loss, PM Modi implied that even though President Donald Trump called him a “great friend,” the friendship no longer existed.

American citizen Matthew Aaron Van Dyke is known as a documentary filmmaker, war correspondent, and motorcycle traveler across North Africa and the Middle East. Between 2008 and 2011, he made films in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan, countries where the US orchestrated coups.

In Libya, he joined rebels fighting against Gaddafi. He was imprisoned there and held a prisoner of war for six months. After his release, he became a topic of international media attention. In a sense, the US has been sending him to create a terrorist or other environment in various countries to destabilize their governments.

As soon as the NIA arrested Matthew Aaron Van Dyke, the US government became active, and at its behest, US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor immediately met with India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The details of what was discussed during the meeting between Ajit Doval and Sergey Gor have not been disclosed, but circumstantial evidence suggests that some discussion must have taken place between the two regarding the settlement of the case of Matthew Aaron Van Dyke, an American citizen arrested by the NIA.

A similar statement was made by the Ukrainian Ambassador to India. He, too, asserts that his citizens are not involved in the conspiracy and raises questions about the fact that Ukrainian citizens have not been allowed to meet with the ambassador so far.

Despite these circumstances, US citizen Matthew Aaron Van Dyke and six Ukrainian citizens arrested by the NIA have confessed to the charges. According to the confessions and facts revealed during the NIA investigation, the accused have admitted to the following:
Contact with Terrorist Groups: The accused illegally entered Myanmar via Mizoram and admitted to providing combat and weapons training to anti-India insurgent groups (Ethnic Armed Organizations).
Drone Warfare Training: The accused admitted to training insurgents in drone operations and drone warfare.
Drone Smuggling from Europe: The investigation revealed that they were illegally transporting large consignments of drones from Europe to Myanmar insurgent groups via India.
Illegal Entry into Restricted Areas: They entered protected areas of Mizoram without a permit.
Role of the American Citizen: The arrested American citizen is said to be Matthew Aaron Van Dyke, who was assisting insurgent groups in Myanmar.

Anti-India ethnic armed groups (Indian Insurgent Groups – IIGs) operating in Myanmar employ various methods to spread separatism, instability, and violence in Northeast India. These groups primarily take advantage of the porous border between the two countries by establishing bases in the dense forests near the India-Myanmar border.

Key aspects of these groups’ modus operandi are as follows:
Safe Havens and Training Camps: Anti-India militant groups such as the NSCN-K, ULFA(I), PLA, and NDFB operate their training camps and bases in the Sagaing Region and Northern Areas of Myanmar. These camps are used to evade action by Indian security forces (such as the Assam Rifles).
Cross-border attacks (Hit-and-Run): These groups take refuge in Myanmar and from there infiltrate into India (particularly Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh) to attack security forces and infrastructure.
Alliance with the Myanmar Junta: Following the military coup in Myanmar in 2021, several Indian Insurgent Organisations (IEAOs) have been working in alliance with Myanmar’s ruling military junta (Tatmadaw). In return, the junta allows them to reside in Myanmar’s mountainous regions and fight against anti-junta resistance groups.

The arrest of six Ukrainians, including American citizen Matthew, by the NIA is being considered a tremendous success for Indian intelligence. This will expose the heads of state of countries, including the US and Ukraine, who outwardly call PM Modi friends but then attempt to stab him in the back. Furthermore, it will expose the Indian organizations and their leaders who, in collusion with such terrorist groups, are conspiring to overthrow or even assassinate Modi. Especially given the way opposition political party leaders have been inciting PM Modi to visit Manipur, calling his cowardice and alleging that his 56-inch chest is missing, their actions should also be investigated in the context of the arrest of the American and six Ukrainian citizens by the NIA.
