COVID-19 cases in India: India recorded 1,968  new cases of the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday (October 4), the total recovery rate reached around 98.74 percent, and total recoveries data reached 4,40,36,152.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • A decrease of 1,528 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours 
  • The total death toll in the country is now at 5,28,716 
  • The total recovery rate reached around 98.74 percent today
